Oh. My. Goodness. I am so excited to be sharing this transformation with you today! I say this about every single step of this renovation process… but this made a huge difference! So, we have a fairly permanent location currently for our camper. It has full hookups including sewer in its current location. It is also right next to where we would at some point like to build our dream home! Because of this, we were able to add some fairly permanent (but moveable) aspects to do some landscaping around the camper!

The first thing that was done was Caleb and his Grandpa added a deck. It basically added a room onto our small camper! It feels like there is an additional living room now!

Then, of course I had to do some decorating! I am obsessed with string lights, so they added a couple of posts to the side to hang my lights, too!

Caleb’s grandparents picked up these white chairs and tables at a garage-type of sale after an old bed and breakfast went up for sale. The rug was one that I had been using in town, but it was a little small for our back deck. It fits perfectly here, though! The orange cushions came with a bistro set we have in town, but I didn’t like how it looked with our other furniture, which has red cushions so we replaced the ones in town and used the orange out here! Love the pops of color that the rug and cushions give! And of course the lights add to the cheerful atmosphere!

I used to use these blue flower pots in town, but for Christmas I was given some that fit in better with the stuff in town, so these little buggers moved out here! Which, once again, seem to fit in perfectly! I planted them with the impatiens that I had started from seed this spring! They haven’t bloomed yet, but they are growing like crazy!

Of course, I also had to add a couple of landscaping gardens on the side… 🙂 In the picture that is taken on the left side of the deck, there are Annabelle Hydrangeas that I very recently purchased bare root. They have a little bit of green starting, but they are not easy to see yet. They are a part-sun to shade hydrangea, so I think they will do well here. Then, I have a bunch of hostas! I don’t know what variety they are unfortunately, but I put the larger looking ones in the back and smaller around the outside. Finished it up with some weed block and mulch and I am so happy with how it all turned out!
I was out there yesterday with the goal of getting some work done, but I found myself sitting and enjoying the view from the new deck instead! So happy and thankful to have this space and excited to see it all coming together!
