The quest continues for being more organized in the garden this year! Because I want to limit the time I spend having to keep specific records, this record template is for the seed starting process only. It does not include information spaces on things such as how well the plant performs or anything beyond transplanting data. I start many seeds indoors using my LED grow light setup and wanted to find a way to keep track of this information in a quick and fairly organized manner!
I am using this template for starting vegetable garden and container flower seeds only. I have an entire binder dedicated to the cut flower garden this year and the template to create your own can be found here!
This template is much more generic and includes information regarding what was planted, when, germination information, and transplanting information. I keep these records on a clipboard with my seed starting supplies.
Like the cut flower record template, I highly encourage you to edit this document to fit your needs! I may be keeping track of more than you care to. I may also be tracking much less or different things than you would like to keep track of this year. I am sharing this simply because I know it’s hard to find free and easy-to-access templates for things like this. I truly hope you edit it to fit your needs and that you find it to be an extremely useful tool this growing season! :).
