When I first created this blog almost a year ago, I didn’t have any idea what I was doing. I typed in the name Paints, Plants, and Stuff without giving it a lot of thought and I never really loved it. I purchased the URL for a year, so I continued to use it as the name of the blog. My year long purchase is about to auto-renew, so I figured if I want to change the name… now is the perfect time. I believe paintsplantsandstuff.com will continue to redirect to our new site until the URL expires the middle of March.
This name is fitting because every year there is a patch of these beautiful flowers growing right next to the road that we will be building on. The Lady Slipper is the Minnesota State Flower, so they can’t be moved, picked, or transplanted.
If you currently follow us on the wordpress app, I think in order to continue to see our content you will need to unfollow and refollow. If you signed up for our newsletter or have post notifications sent to your email, I believe they will continue to come through. If they don’t, please reach out! If you no longer wish to follow the blog, simply unsubscribe at the bottom of our email newsletter or unfollow on our page. I hope you continue to follow us, but understand if you choose not to 🙂
I will be working on redirecting everything and changing the name of our page on all social media accounts in the next several days. I am hopefully going to be able to keep the website live during these times, so you may see some subtle changes! Please keep in mind that I am still learning how all of this works, so I apologize in advance if you receive any random notifications!
